Eco Tale
'A tale from the cabbage tree forest (Figtree)' is the first in the series. It follows
a Yellow-spotted tree frog on her almost impossible journey to a new place she
can call home, after her habitat has been destroyed to make way for one of the
first streets leading to the Illawarra.

The South Coast Writers Centre, in collaboration with the
Black Wallaby
Writers and the Junee Correctional Centre, has conducted workshops
with indigenous inmates since 2012. Over seven volumes to date, the
Dreaming Inside project showcases a large collection of Aboriginal
inmate writing, allowing insights into the writers' dreams, songs and
reflections. Black Wallaby tutors and guest tutors accompany the inmates
with poems and writings that shed further light on Aboriginal experiences.
I have been fortunate enough to have been involved with the Dreaming Inside
project as a workshop facilitator, tutor, publicist, publisher and contributor for
the first seven years of its running.
